However I do not believe that alien life has ever been witnessed by us, nor has it ever visited us.

This entirely. We're only able to observe 90 billion light years of the galaxy, but it could easily be infinite. It isn't unlikely for some form of life to exist (or have existed) outside of our solar system considering the incomprehensible vastness. Us being visited is a different matter, as you say.

With trillions of planets and chances for life to develop it would be highly unlikely that we are the only one. However i doubt there are aliens currently colonizing other star systems in our galaxy as we speak. Ofcourse i've no evidence or anything, its just a thought

they have found exo planets that have the exact same climate and temperature as the earth where humans could live.
they are much larger tthan the earth too, so screw the environment, leech all resources and then git to an exo planet.

Very Interesting Indeed, particularly the similarity of climatic conditions.

Like many others, I believe in the possibility of their existence, but not that we've ever met them.
Should we truly become a space faring species as Mr Elon Musk and others are dreaming, who knows if we'll invent a means of travel that will allow us to visit those potentially life supporting planets. Perhaps we'll discover fantastic creatures, or maybe just something as small as bacteria, or it could be a place where fungi stand as tall as trees as they once did on earth (google that shit, I'm serious).

Here's from national geographic writing about it:
Quote:For centuries, planets beyond our solar system—called exoplanets—existed only in theory and science fiction. It seemed nearly impossible to detect planets light-years away, since the relatively tiny worlds would appear billions of times fainter than their parent stars. But in the last two decades astronomers have successfully developed indirect detection methods, most of which rely on measuring the effects of orbiting planets on far-off stars.

That was a very Informative read.

I plan to research more when I take short breaks from computing.
Thanks for that.

I personally do like the rare earth hypothesis as an explanation why we don't see aliens. It states that earth and our solar system have some rare properties that have caused earth to be exceptionally friendly to the creation of complex life.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rare_Earth_hypothesis

Especially the hypothesis that Earth collided with another planet (Theia) and was responsible for earth's rapid rotation rate, its axial tilt and a large moon that really helped drive evolution. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant-impact_hypothesis
Assuming earth has the ideal conditions for complex and intelligent life, it could be that many star systems and galaxies are just too unstable or turbulent for complex life to ever evolve.

Mathematically sure, if the world is as the scientist's claim, ( fucking huge ) then it's pretty much a 100% chance something like what we believe an alien to be, does exist.
