Is there a movie remake that you have watched, but disappointed you? If so, why did it disappoint you?

I personally haven't watched many movie remakes, but I finally got round to watching The Mummy movie last week - the one that came out last year, with Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe, etc. I did not enjoy it. No real story line, predictable events, and choice of a particular character line was lame...Lots of holes in the story...Story jumped all over without real connections to plot...Characters lacked depth...

The 2003 Daredevil movie was pretty bad. As a kid I didn't think it was too awful, but I looked at it again after seeing the recent TV series and was horrified.

I don't watch movies nowadays but In the time that I did, I wasn't too Impressed with The Nutty Professor.

The original with Jerry Lewis Is excellent.

It would be really cool to have "The Room" remade with A list actors, but with none of the dialog or story changed.
