Debian Intermittant keyboard and mouse.

So I installed Debian 8.2 yesterday, and the system boots. However, my USB mouse and keyboard either do not detect at all, or only work after a few minutes, then only for a short time, and freeze. I've read about, and enabled IOMMU on linux systems (This machine has an AMD FX-8350) and tried amending the boot options with various different suggestions, all of which have had no effect. When I boot this system, I get this warning:

I know this thread is old but I thought I'd help anyway. This is usually due to buggy DSDT tables in the BIOS. Many users have fixed this by updating the BIOS. If that doesn't work, make sure you disable UEFI if it's enabled (sometimes it defaults on Hybrid mode).

Given the thread Is just over 5 weeks old and the OP Is still active, before posting anything further, has your Issue been solved or do you still require assistance?

I was also going to recommend checking for BIOS/UEFI update.

Have you tried different distros? Or just Deb 8.2?

Have you tried the keyboard and mouse on another machine seeing if they are the problem?

Then why would they work in windows on this very machine?
