DNA questions #1
hello everyone; I'm new to the SE community and I wanted to ask you a question; when DNA is implemented, do you have to leave the package somewhere or is it okay to take it directly from the courier? And if it asks for a signature, you have to pretend it? I hope you can help me Biggrin

Moved from the Group Discussion forum to Social Engineering.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, a lot of carriers are not accepting signatures on delivery, which makes the DNA much easier to process. If this Is the case with yourself, simply claim that you did not personally receive & accept the package. In the event a signature Is required, do not use your real one.

Most likely not. A personal address or a drop (an address that you can pick up packages at, but do not reside in/have any connection with. Drops are helpful because some companies send a bill to the address after sending a replacement and never receiving the 'broken' unit.) is much preferred.

DNA might not work if the terms and conditions mention FOB shipping at the warehouse - i.e. they are no longer liable for the package after it leaves their warehouse. You are entitled to all risk of loss after they hand off the package to courier.

amazon does not mention in its FOB terms of service right? (I mean items sold and shipped by amazon)

Yeah, Amazon is safe in that regard.

Also, in regards to your signature question. No signature > Fake signature > Real signature.

Thanks so much; instead if I send to a locker and say that the package is empty? would it work according to you?
