DNA or EB? (Amazon) #1
Good morning everyone,

Getting back into refunds and the sort after a while, so I have no idea how everything works now.
I've bought some AirPods (46g), they're asking for a signature on delivery. (AusPost).

Should I: a) Sign a fake signature and claim it wasn't me and DNA. b) Do EB since it weighs nothing. c) ?????

I'm more inclined for EB/manufacturer error as the weight factor makes it *feel* easier, and harder for amazon to fight and disprove. I don't know. Thoughts?

Cheers.

Welcome back to the game, not sure how long you've been gone but the rules have been changing recently. If you are going the Amazon route then a lot of users have been having success with this product by saying that either the airpods box was missing the buds and case or just missing the buds. The vast majority of users have been asked for PR when using this method recently so be prepared to give one.

Police report should be no problem. I can just organise one online, so EB seems the way to go. Thanks for your help man I appreciate it.

Be sure to say that upon opening the box, the AirPods were missing and leave It at that during the Initial conversation.

Just a small update that doesn’t really matter but, I decided to EB. On the day I got it and signed for it, I messaged Amazon acting confused why there was nothing in the AirPods box. Three days pass and I got a refund just from a single sentence.  Most low effort thing I’ve ever done I think.
