DNA help #1
Hello! I ordered some stencils and ink for tattoos. Package came today, I made a misstake and went to grab it, but deliverer didn't ask for signature. So that means he don't have physical proof that I took it, but at the same time he saw me and we spoke a little.

Question: Because it is ink and stencil papers, I wanted to say that ink spilled all over my papers and I just threw it right away, but INK was packed really good, sealed in plastic box. I am looking for help/solutions what should I do next and how to approach them?

Thanks for every help, everything is welcome.

Second question is: Can I use DNA in this situation as I did grab package myself but didn't sign for it.

Given you're planning to use the DNA, you're not supposed to have received the package, hence your approach (above) contradicts your Intention with the method Itself.

If no other form of verification was provided to the driver, It's perfect DNA material.

Although his word holds no value to verify consignments, nonetheless, what did your conversation Involve?

I mispronounced. My first question is about DNA, second question is about spilled ink. So if I am not able to go with DNA, I thought about going with spilled ink.

Problem is that I payed when I received the package, so DNA won't work in this situation, my bad.

What do you think about spilled ink method, will it go through?

Was It paid with your card, or did the carrier accept cash?

The advantage Is that the Ink may well have spilled during transit, Irrespective of Its packaging. As such, both the company & carrier cannot conclude that the goods reached Its destination (your home) unscathed. Moreover, the packaging could've been damaged at their warehouse, or when placed In the box by their packing team. Either way, It supports your claim.

Are you looking to SE both the stencils & Ink, or either one?

Did the carrier accept cash?

He accepted cash, that cancelles DNA

Cash has no association to you, so the DNA Is well and truly possible.

As far as you're concerned, you didn't pay for the Item nor receive It. As such, the company and/or their carrier partner, cannot provide any evidence whatsoever claiming you did.

UPDATE: SE still in progress and I need your help!

1. I sent them email saying that INK spilled all over my package and sent them some photos of how I made it. https://prnt.sc/15mi71h

2. They send email apologize and said they don't know how ink spilled because it was alright when they were packing it. blablabla. They said book looks good to them, just to wipe it with some alcohol and offer me to send new INK. LOL

3. I emailed them back and said that INK spilled all over package and the book is literally soaking wet. I said that I payed for both items and I have none of them, so I want both replaced or money return.

4. They emailed me back saying they will get new book next week, but I need to send old one to them back. I mean book is covered in INK why would I keep it.. They sent that today.

I am looking for a refund, but replacement is really good too. I could email then right now saying that I disposed book as it was covered with ink, but I think better result will be if I call her on phone and tell them the same thing.
What could I say to make them refund me and not just replace items? Maybe I could say that I can't wait for another week as it is important and will look somewhere to buy it in person? What do you all think about this?

Did you respond to this?

If so, how?

Tell them that due to the spillage, you were In urgent need of the books so you've purchased them elsewhere, hence a replacement Is of no use to you.
