it would be pretty cool if you could use the coin to then purchase minutes worth of attacks to your own targets

it's skiddy and shit, yes, but it could really help some movements fight

Why the hate on Krebs? I like his blog, personally. I don't read it everyday - maybe just a few times a month - but when I do, it seems well-done.

Damn, If this becomes even a trace of a big thing it'll put a dent in the adoption of cryptocurrencies. Can't say i'm necessarily for that. Here's to hope this is just a fluke~~

So it took two grad students from different universities - and pretty good ones at that - to come up with an idea that sounds like it came from a 10-year-old who uses LOIC and just learned what blockchain is? Getting grants in uni is going to be a fucking breeze.

Not sure what to think of this. I think this is more an idea they got after graduating after a night drinking.

Basically in most countries (D)Dos is illegal, so they persuade skids to commit a crime.
This will result in a lot 'Hackers' (Skidz) arrested.
