Curry's SE #1
New to the forum and excited to be a member.

I have had some successful SE's with Amazon - 2 to be precise - and now want to try with Curry's UK. I have ordered 2 items, a fan and a CPU (CPU around £400, fan around £100). My plan was to partial EB the CPU since it is extremely lightweight. I am unsure if they have CCTV in the warehouse, but could also say it was not in the manufacturer's box. I paid via PayPal, so can always make a claim there too.

What do you think? My Curry's account is aged, but only with 1 order.

It's light enough to not register a weight on consignment, so as you've already mentioned, use the missing Item manufacturer error method.

If you can do a sealed box, and if the box does NOT show the cpu, take it back in store, is another way to get the return.

Has your order already shipped? What Courier service do they use as I'm about to order an item or two from them as well.

This could be a good backup option yeah, thanks! It hasn't shipped yet so I am not sure, but when I find out the courier I'll be sure to let you know Smile

Damn. DPD are sometimes annoying to deal with.
They don’t usually leave packages if no one is at home for example.

Good luck with yours and keep us updated with the end outcome
