Criminal reference number #1
I have been told to call up the police and report a crime for my DNA SE. They told me to provide a criminal reference number.

No. Believe it or not it’s boohoo. I managed to forge a letter that shows I made a report to the local police but they said I need the reference number which should come in a few days. That makes no sense. I have shown that I made the report and that surely should be enough right?

The police department will give you a case number when you file a report, which is what they are asking for. Your best bet might to be to actually file a police report. You might be able to do it online or just go into the station. Stick to your story you should be straight. Police aren't gonna be able to do anything anyways, in their eyes your package is long gone and there is no way they gonna find it, waste of resources. Remember, you are just someone whose packages never arrived, and you are not doing anything wrong. Peoples packages go missing everyday and you are no different.

I feel like I can forge a reference number quite easily.

Don't.

They've requested the CRN for a reason (and not for the sake of It), hence It's likely to be verified.

Don't forge police numbers, it's easy enough to get a legit one. I'd say be. Aregul bro, you seem to be doing a high volume of refunds to your own house and getting pretty reckless in some instances. I hope you are practicing good opsec and don't get banged up.

Na I had a feeling they just wanted a reference number and I was right because they refunded me my order.

Hopefully they don't cross-check It a little further down the track.

It has happened with various companies.
