How do you guess think of a concept?
For me it can come from a render, stock, and maybe song, and or quote.
You?

I don't do GFX, but when I normally image something, either I imagine something, listen to music or see something. I imagine my drawing, but sadly I lost my drawing skills a LONG time ago.

General inspiration from the world around me, or someone else's design, for me I find thinking of a 100% original design concept is fairly hard.
By that I meaning making something up on the spot without looking at other similar designs.

Basically most of the times I have to work on logos for professional reasons. So when I get an order I do some research on google images that how do the competitors of my clients have made their logos[this is because I do not want to end up making something that is partially or fully similar to some one else] and then once I have the ideology, I go old school on a drawing book and a pencil ^_^.Finally on AI or PS

Just from looking around seeing work on advertisements or seeing a pattern somewhere in nature. I do like the simplistic stuff so the concept could just be a shape or gradient.
