So here's my guide:

1. Open up that old pos and get an air compressor (set it to low fuck butt) and blow that shit out. Don't blow it directly on anything sensitive. (It might be a good idea to blow it through the air-intake vent as it's meant to take in air there!)

2. Restart computer and boot into safe mode
2a. if it boots normally, check startup folders, run A.V. etc

3. If it does not stay booted, try a live cd or Bootable USB. Some older bios don't allow the usb booting but mine is from '02 and it works just fine. Make sure you properly create the bootable usb and make sure it works (you'll prolly have to enable legacy support and disable secure whatever the fuck the option is called cuz windows 8-10 suck cock twice daily like a god damn vitamin.

4. If that doesn't work you have a few possible issues. Either there is some seriously fucked up issues in your OS in that it wont boot anything, possible virus, or you have a hardware issue (that's usually pretty easy to fix)

So it would appear its an OS issue. I would back up and reinstall, it's easiest. I would boot n' nuke the hard drive just to be safe in case of viral infection of the fuck hole.

Update time pals, so i booted into her computer via a live CD of ubuntu (this live CD was like version 12.0 i need to update it) i copied her /home to my USB since she really only had a few pictures and documents. and then i booted from an updated ubuntu USB and installed the newest version of ubuntu loaded up her computer and copied her /home back and now i'm dusting it out, its almost as dirty as Alexis Texas in there. Do you guys have any extra suggestions? its running like 200% better.

Pick a better OS? In all seriousness, I would recommend monitoring it further. Not entirely uncommon for a linux distro to get corrupted or fucked in the bum via one way or another.

Is she familiar with the Linux interface? I have installed Debian and Ubuntu on some of my friends their PC some time ago. They didn't like it at all though. I found it weird because Ubuntu looks more the same as Windows after every update (not always, just reference).

I would definitly make sure she doesn't run tools like terminal or anything if she doesn't know what it is or does.

That's the weird thing she HATES windows she says she doesn't understand how to use it. She said she knows how to access everything in Ubuntu so i decided not to change it.
