Which method would be the best?

Choose standard delivery, then say item not received, if they 'investigate' let them, if that doesnt work say the item was hidden from you by your neighbour or friend and say its empty.

i'd suggest empty box since if they are going to ask anybody its you the customer which has the right to say yes or no, then you will be offered a replacement or refund.
But what are you expecting to say?

I'm planning to tell them that it says the item is delivered but I didn't receive anything and if they could send the funds back to my bank account. But since you say i should use the empty box method I guess I'll give it a try.

Missing box or not delivered?
Dont say too much, and remember, supposedly amazon support can see what you type. Try live support and then try email if the first doesnt work.
Should be easy.

I'd suggest 'not delivered' if its a newly created account (random signature if required, different letter than the name it is being delivered to), or missing item if it is shipped or takes a long time to deliver.

Next time try a different domain of amazon, have it shipped with standard delivery, this puts in various factors of where the item could have 'gone missing'.

UPDATE: I received the monitor and called amazon, they told me they will contact the belgium post (bpost) and ask where the package is.
What should I do now?
