Recently ordered something from an online shop overseas (Austria) totalling $400USD. I told them an item was missing from the package and they launched an investigation with FedEx and a few weeks later they said they'd refund me out of courtesy. But instead of refunding the single item ($300) they refunded me the entire order by accident.

They then sent another email asking me to pay the difference and billed me an invoice. Should I pay it or ignore it? Would they pursue legal action to someone based in the US?

Pay it. They made a mistake and they actually refunded you for the item you claimed was missing. Pay it and move forward.

Yep pay it, your intended refund was successful and the extra $100 is likely more trouble than it's worth.

Under the circumstances, they have every right to request a reimbursement so as others have stated, It must be paid.

If they're overseas they may have a hard time collecting it from you. They're right in wanting their money back, and you should pay them if you have the money.

You're probably fine if you ignore it. Given that they would have given you most of it back anyway, it's up to you how you wanna move forward. If you plan on ordering from them in the future, I'd pay the invoice and not have my address blacklisted unno.

Yeah I would pay it just to be safe... you never know if they actually get ya.

You’ve already get what you want. Don’t be greedy and send them back the 100$. If you think that the 100 box worth the risk go for it but don’t do this. Keep your mind free
