Android Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) like Google's Android Studio, JetBrains' IntelliJ IDEA and Eclipse as well as the major reverse engineering tools for Android apps such as APKTool, Cuckoo-Droid and more are all vulnerable to this attack using the XML parsing library.

Thanks for the information. I'm an Android Developer, and I must say that it's very important to check every external library you are trying to use especially those less popular. And I don't think if that kind of 'infected' app could get pass Google Play, but still, a very useful information.

It's always good to know about potential holes into your system at least you can take precautions in regards to such things.
