Coffee/Espresso machine #1
Looking to SE a high end, non-commercial coffee machine.

Planing I trying the serial number method as these machines at $1-3,000 and I don't want to out lay cash.

Does any one have any experience with companies that make these units, such as Breville, DeLonghi, Sunbeam, Phillips etc?

Then It's very likely they'll request the Item be returned.

Your approach Is fine.

To circumvent the return, you can use the disposed of the faulty Item method.

Thats what I was thinking. I was just hoping someone had dealt with CS from one of these companies or similar before so get some insight before I chose a brand.

Understood.

I haven't directly dealt with the said companies. Stating the obvious, Is Amazon an option for you, or have you exhausted your account?

That's perfectly understandable.

Hopefully other SE'ers can share their experience with the said stores.

Is there any update on this? I am also thinking of SE ing an automatic espresso machine ( preferably Phillips ) but not from Amazon.
Any update will be appreciated.

TBH I wouldn't do Philips, at least with DNA, I've always had bad luck dealing with them. Although it might be because of my inexperience back then.

For Delonghi, A friend of mine was able to do a DNA refund after talking to a rep on the phone.
