Planning to SE amazon. The item I plan on doing is a graphics card, which i already have on hand from amazon themselves. I called them and I tried to use the DNA method. Wasn't exactly a fail but they want me to do a police report. I know it's protocol and not really a big deal but a hassle in its own way.
I was thinking maybe to wait about a week or 2 and return the item using the sealed box method. I've used it in the past with great success. However I'm not sure since I already called stating the package is "lost" it would raise some flags if I returned it in a few weeks.

Do note that Amazon has been checking sealed box returns as of late.

Simply say your brother accepted the package In your absence, and told you he received It after you put In the claim with Amazon.
