I just published my first program in C#. It's called Censure Worm.


This will be used by counter strike 1.6 players, with purpose of protecting their game configurations from malicious "virus" that changes it.
This Censure thing is very popular on Balkan, and almost every CS1.6 server got that plugin, so admin can execute that malicious script on every player. I believe that censure was made to prevent and punish cheaters from playing with hacks/cheats. But, it got out of control, so i personally got censured like 20+ times because i'm very skilled player and admin was angry because i PWNED him or he though i have some kind of cheat.

Censure Worm will backup your config and it actually wait's for censure (virus) to be activated, when it's activated, the CensureWorm will instantly delete the virus and replace your config with backuped one.

I'm already thinking about creating 2.0 version because check what happened to me:

I was coding the censure worm and i finally finished the most important part, so i wanted to test it out in debug mode...
I opened counter strike, connected to a server, and begged admin like 50 times to execute censure on me. ( i can't believe i actually begged to get infected..lol.)
So i finally did got censured, BUT my counter strike didn't close? Which was supposed to happen because censure worm should do that for you when you get infected.. So i though that i didn't Check mark the option to auto close when infected, but NO! it was marked/checked.. Then i restarted my counter strike to see what's going on.
When DAAYUUM i am censured and my censure worm didn't protect it, and ofc i almost lost my config ( i double backuped it already) but had to reinstall my counterstrike :/.

Conclusion: There is more version of censures so you never know will it protect you or not.

After all, i need to see what newer versions of censures do so i could prevent it.

I doubt you will need this.. Just 'cause i believe that censure is only popular in Balkan..

Pretty soon. I just have to get my laptop fixed and then i'll explore other types of censure, so i could find way to prevent them. You are playing cs1.6?
