CPU SE #1
I was looking to se a cpu using EB.
My account is years old with thousands of dollars in legit orders and only one se around a year ago.
I was wondering if cpu's have an sort of serial number that can be used to track it, sort of like an IMEI?
In case if I decide to sell it.
Any advice and help is appreciated. Thank you Smile

bump 25 character limittttt

RE: CPU SE #3
They have a number printed on the CPU which relates to the batch number and the date that they were manufactured at the plant but it is not specific to any one CPU. If you are concerned about them balcklisting or blocking an SE'd CPU you have nothing to worry about as they cant do that.

The higher end i9s can indeed be EB'd or SB'd since their special packaging means they cannot be viewed from the outside. SB has a far higher chance of success in this regard just dont do with amazon.

Got it, thank you. Could I try EB with amazon or you mean don’t try either with amazon?

He means do not attempt either method with Amazon
The forum is going downhill.

I have many SEs I would like to share with other contributors. Unfortunately, that is a very small percentage of the overall community, and getting smaller by the day. I have no incentive to contribute publicly and reward the undeserving. If you feel the same and would like to discuss privately, please reach out.

Is the CPU visible externally without opening the box?
