CPU Amazon EB 03-29-2023, 08:12 AM
#1
Hi, got a CPU (i9 13000k), tried EB from Amazon. It is not sold my Amazon however is from a big company called scan in the UK. First time on this account refunding a large amount, however, they want PR report. Is it worth it? You can’t see the CPU externally. @

That's fine.
Is It scan.co.uk? If so, they have CCTV cameras In place but given you're MEB'ing, the footage will be Inconclusive.

It's entirely your decision.
In terms of the PR Itself, It's only required to move forward with the claim, hence there's no cause for concern.

The customer service of Amazon is terrible and disgusting. I've contacted them over 10 times now everytime there's a different excuse. Yesterday the conversation I had with one sounded like a telemarket scam. The guy told me to stop calling and that it's my problem and but the phone down. Everytime I've called they've ended the chat or ended the call.
Anyways basically the latest excuse is that I do not have a report number, I've sent them the emails the police sent me. The police have said they can't provide a number as if it came empty it is Amazons investigation. Amazon says it's the police’s problem and I need a ref number. @
mothered Any thoughts, don't know where to go now. Obviously CS of Amazon is sh**.

What a load of BS.
You've done the right thing to obtain a PR, however the police Is unable to provide one - and that's where It ends. Amazon's pea-brain representatives think they're above the law by saying It's the police's problem.
Request an Immediate escalation - you have all the evidence to support your claim.
