Blur works like Privacy.com
Revult create a disposable virtual card but with your identifications (name, surname, address...)

Now I understand. I believe it is possible to buy US ID for quite affordable price. You could then access privacy.com, what about this?
it all started here

You would still have to figure out how to deposit/withdraw money from privacy.com (I believe they require a US bank account/card, but I have not checked this myself).

Regarding Blur: according to their website initial limits per card would be around $50 per week, and up to $500 for an aged account in good standing. I doubt this is what most of us are looking for.

After all, you will be trying to SE them with a high chance of failure (because you're testing things). Doing it in the name of someone close to you - likely without making them aware - is a line I am hesitant to cross.
Simply purchase a low value Item with minimal risk, and base the SE on legit grounds.

As such, It will not raise suspicion and the chance of failure Is highly unlikely.

As I find this is one of the biggest uncertainties when utilizing the "wrong item received" method. For example Scan and overclockers (UK computer companies) use CCTV and keep these recordings for a certain time.

I suppose it would be possible to make a very low value order to an alternate name and address and test the required company. Or perhaps. I have thought about somehow emailing the company and point blank asking, but I doubt this would be successful. Unless you had some kind of very specific email...

Thanks for any suggestions.

They might not go through the trouble for anything under £100. They could refer to the CCTV for anything above that amount. I don't think CCTV of them picking/packing the item is enough. It could've been removed prior to actually leaving the warehouse, could've been removed in transit.. the thing is, unless your name is visible on the parcel whilst the item you ordered is being packed, then there's no conclusive proof.

In support of this comment, on one occasion, Argos did In fact refer to CCTV footage for a set of AirPods valued at 160$ (at the time).

The missing Item method was used, which made the process a lot more difficult but after 3 weeks of communications back and forth, the SE finally succeeded.

So even with CCTV it still works if you press hard enough. Really the biggest variable is the attitude of the person handling your case.

Yes, as stated In my post above, If you're adamant and persevere throughout the entire SE, then It will succeed.

Absolutely.

The human mind Is always the weakest link In the security chain.
