[C#] TLF Rollaway - Game Development #1
I'm working on a new game, so far got my map laid out and all the images (EVERYTHING, orbs, main ball, tiles) were created by myself in Photoshop.

Let me know what you think, still got a ways to go on this one, but it should be a fun game, i've got some good ideas for this one Smile

I can help you on the visual part if you like. You could add mayby a background that fits the game.

Looks pretty cool but what's going to be the main objective of the game?

I created all the graphics myself thus far, i'm capable of doing graphics Smile Unless you can create for me, a bunch of great characters that I can add to a spritesheet? That's something I can't do; well more like refuse to do because of how time consuming it is, at least until I know I have a good idea for a game that will justify taking the time to do it. Graphics is mainly the last thing though, I can easily update the graphics whenever I want in the game, it's just a referenced resource really, I could be playing with dots until I get my game's functionality set up, and then create the graphics last, but it's nice to see how things look in interaction with each other so I did a few from the start Smile

That rainbow orb, the green and yellow orbs, blocks, and hourglass, and the background, all created by me in photoshop. I've been working in photoshop for about 2 years now.

Just like any other game: get the highest score possible, don't lose to a level. I threw this one away though, I got most the levels done, but i'm not satisfied with it, now that i'm truly familiar with the XNA libraries. Hit the hourglass, you get 5 bonus seconds to collect all the green orbs, if you don't by the time is up, game over, otherwise you win, regardless of whether or not you collect all hourglasses or yellow orbs, hourglasses only give you extra time, and yellow orbs are ONLY there for a score bonus. If you complete the level by collecting everything before time is up, you get a score bonus for every second you have left over counting down to 0 from the time left from whence you finished collecting all the goodies inside that level.

Edit: Whoa jeesus f*ck lol, I just realized I never posted a preview here... Here's the beta preview that I posted up around my forum a few days ago:

*Note: Music was taken from an mp3 I found in Frooxiouses game downloads... I didn't have any game sounds until now. NOW however - I have like 100's of game sounds from downloads on the net lol*

Working on a bigger project now which I estimate to be done in 1-2 months.

This one will look like sh*t compared to the one i'm currently making... To be honest with you, I think it is already lol. I could have done much better, but this was my first trial. Now that i'm more familiar with everything i've decided to work on a bigger game, i'm getting the movements down so far.
