From what I've read and understand about boxing, the method is just using a box that is made to look to be tampered with (taped, cut, and taped again) to send some dry ice (or nothing for extremely light items) to a company in order to make them thing the item was stolen/loss in transit.
My question is how is the box sent? I know this is a silly question, but being young and growing up with internet access, I've never had to send anything through the mail. No letters, boxes, etc.
Do I get a shipping label from a company like FedEx or UPS and have them pick up the box directly from my house or should I drop the box off at a facility who whichever postal service I use?
My next question would be which postal service is recommended if I have a choice?
And finally, how do you know how much dry ice to use, when to put it in the box, and how do you keep it concealed that that the vapor isn't noticeable through the box?
