So I want to start investing in blu-ray discs because I like the HQ they produce.
Should i get a simple USB Blu-ray dvd drive or should I replace my CD drive with a Blu-ray drive? Or perhaps have both?

I think it wouldn't really make a difference. I would just buy an external USB Blu-ray drive. Most drives and shit I buy I buy external because I can use it on other systems as well if I want to.

I have a blu-ray drive in my desktop and I'm pretty happy with it. All I ever use mine for is ripping blu-rays for my media server. At the time they were a lot cheaper than the external drives, so I really don't have any experience with the external ones but all external disc drives I've had seem to break within a year or two.
