If i did wrong item, and they ask me to sign an affidavit

This doesn't happen very often for the wrong Item.

What exactly was the wrong Item, Inclusive of It's weight?

So for this ongoing S/E for a motherboard about £500, i sent the wrong item back which was paper that is sold and fulfilled by Amazon, and weighs the same amount as the item i purchased. They are still asking me to sign the affidavit, even though they've received the wrong item. Please advise. Thank you
