I can confirm that EB works perfectly fine on Adidas, regardless of the weight. I had EB'd a thick winter jacket on one occasion, and two pairs of shoes on another, both with no issues.

My go to method for Adidas would be DNA, as it was successful today and extremely easy, but you did mention that it's not possible.

Correct, It cannot be redirected while In transit.

You can certainly hit the WIR, but you'd need to act fast.
