I only check the weight on arrival if I'm looking to FTID but as it was a DNA, I didn't bother.
Other orders I had placed were split into more than one parcel, but these orders were bigger and I used FTID to secure the refunds.
Do you have the option to choose which courier delivers your parcel? For me is always DPD. Do you know if drivers are also liable for EB claims?
As far as I'm aware, you are unable to choose your courier.
When it comes to EB - I'm really not sure of this. My guess would be, yes, they would be liable. What could help them out is stating that the box wasn't damaged upon arrival, but I'm not sure to what extent that may help the driver. Unless, you carry out MEB - then the comapny is responsible for the EB for certain.
Do you really think is true though? Let's think about it logically. l have claimed many EBs and only one DNA on Nike. If the value of the item refunded really came out of delivery man's pocket. Wouldn't they arrive to your door step with police to defend themselves because of stealing threat and frustration on negative feedback. l am sure companies are anticipate this type of things and have insurance to cover it. Hence, if money really came out of delivery man's pocket. Why would they take such a big risk and still work for DPD. If it is unfair.
