What are your favourite storylines from games you've played? Tag spoilers appropriately for obvious reasons.

I absolutely loved Fallout and Gears of War.

[Ciisco]

Bethesda Game Studio have released some of the best single player titles of all time, the stories they immerse you in are amazing. I love Fallout, but also TES series has a special spot in my heart.

I too enjoyed Fallout very much. Game mechanics were always neat but I never really liked Elder Scrolls.

Other than that, nothing that comes to mind unfortunately.

Probably Witcher 3. I did like the older Fallout games, too.

[Dr. Keter]

I enjoyed Life is Strange quite a bit. Still haven't got a chance to play the new one though.

DDLC was good... Terrible in a good way.

Spoiler:

Fuck you Monica, Natsuki is best girl

Hmmm...

• YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World

• Snatcher

• Policenauts

• The Metal Gear series

So yeah one of those... first three are pretty genre-defining sci-fi games for adventure/visual novel titles with YU-NO making the big branching stories a thing and doing it amazingly while Snatcher/Policenauts are just absolute classic science fiction stories. Past those I just grouped all the Metal Gear games together because apart from Rising (screw spectacle fighters, lazy button masher games at their "best" and mostly just cash grabs) and what Survive looks like it will be the games can be fairly engaging and most-everyone knows how crazy it gets to keep track of.

World of Warcraft has been my favourite for a while, storywise.

Lorewhore and they took time to flesh out not just a story but really a whole universe in the games.

Recently though, I haven't had much chance to play any games.

Wolfenstien: The New Order is a raided up, late 90's shooter with modern graphics and an awesome story.

[Rubius]

Of course, it's WoW! I don't know another fantasy world that big.
