Hey guys,
Whats some excuses you've used in order to get a company to send you a replacement?
I know the go-to for me is "no power" but i'm curious to hear from the community.

But usually with those, you have to send them the product back, no?

I wanted to probe Razer on their Laptop RMA process so got an image of the laptop with swollen battery from the Razer forum, cut the section out i needed and placed it on a photo i had taken. It actually turned out better than i could of hoped. They later asked for me to disconnect the battery and ship the laptop back. To try and avoid this i said i couldn't disconnect the battery as the connector wouldn't come off. They provided some instructions so i figured i would try and say the connector snapped off the motherboard and managed to again Photoshop what i needed but the result was them still waiting the laptop back. Not surprised as it was £3.4k but i wanted to see what the process would be.
I managed to get new Arctis 5 Chat mix dial and free shipping code from SteelSeries by saying my Dog chewed the cable.
Also Done Razer for a Razer Raiju Controller which i had and during the chat was asked to provide a video of the issue (wouldn't connect or turn on) and needed to think on my feet. Since the controller has a detachable cable i put a small piece of tissue in the controller port, recorded a video of my attaching the cable and of course no connection made. Worked a treat and they sent me the Razer Raiju Ultimate
