Item in question: Lenovo L340 Gaming Laptop
Weight : 4.1 Lb
I am wondering what the best method would be for this laptop on Amazon. Personally i was thinking DNA. Would like your guys input. When it comes to SE i have done a couple of DNA's on Amazon , and some EB's on target. I also thought abt doing this :
What you're gonna do is get the laptop and wait 3-4 days before contacting amazon customer support.
Get some cooking oil and take a picture of the bottom of your laptop. Make it look greasy!
Explain to customer support that you were using your laptop and it overheated and caused this liquid to come out.
They'll ask you to contact the manufacturer and explain to them that they told you to contact the store you purchased it from for a refund.
They'll ask you to email them a picture to confirm with the serial number in the picture. Take a picture of your "leaked laptop"
They'll make you wait for 5-7 minutes and tell you
"As a one-time acceptation, you don't have to return the item. We ask that you dispose of it properly." The reason is because if a battery has exploded they are legally not allowed to accept it back.
You'll be offered to either a replacement sent out or a refund.
Take the refund! Just a heads up they will void the warranty on the laptop.
