Im trying to SE a benq monitor with the serial number method.

I sent a request that my monitor burned due to it being on all night while i was watching movies

And they replied with this.

We strongly recommend you and do not use the monitor any more.
Can you send us some pictures of the monitor?

* Image showing the entire monitor including the frame / bezel
* Image of damage area if clearly burn damage to the device

I thought of photoshopping the monitor damage but im not skilled with photoshop.

So im thinking of telling them I disposed of it instantly for my children health & safety would that work?

Given they're not requesting the return, It's a huge advantage to you.

If you can't Photoshop It yourself, find someone who can.
