When I run backtrack4 live CD it comes up with a blue line saying out of range but it doesnt come up when im in safe mode. does anyone know how to fix this problem.

Did you burn the ISO correctly, check the md5 hash code if it does not match it means your download is incomplete or break up somewhere while downloading it.
