Aspell - Interactive Spell Checker - Linux OS

Aspell is an open source spell checker, it is fast and reliable. It can be very useful for correcting spell errors in many different file types: HTML documents, Text files, Emails, C/C++ programs and many other specialized texts.

Another usefull nice tutorial. Thank you for the share. I didn't even know there existed a spell checker for linux.

Thanks buddy, you're welcome! Yeah there is, and even though some might say you don't need this because every text editor nowadays has that same ability, they are wrong. This tool has many more options, you can check the man page. Besides checking HTML pages by skipping HTML tags, and ignoring URL's and email addresses, you can spell check different language. Cheers! Yeah, you're right, it is very nice to have this also in linux. I mean Tools like Word and other different text editors all have the same spellchecking processes and it's used very much. I mean you can't imagine Word don't having a spellchecker right? So it's great that they brought something similar to linux as well. Keep it up with your linux tutorials man, they're really good.
