I'm currently planning to hit Asos.fr , and I need your advices. We're on 13 items, maybe more and around 500€. The carrier is colissimo and I think about DNA it.
The account is 3 years old and has several purchases around 200-300€.
Any thoughts ?

The carrier is Colissimo, it is unsure that a signature will be required on delivery (but it is very likely that it will happen). My friend won't be at his house when the delivery will occur so we will wait for a call and ask the postman to drop it over the portal of his house. Then we will DNA it.

A signature Is a useless form of verification.

Simply fake It.

My friend won't be at his house when the delivery will occur so we will wait for a call and ask the postman to drop it over the portal of his house. Then we will DNA it.

Be careful with that approach.

If "you" suggest the delivery Instructions as stated, you'll be liable for loss of goods.

So what should I do if I am not home, and the postman is at my door ?

Well, if the courier drops it at the door without telling you, it's okay to DNA.
If they call you and you tell them to drop it at the door, then you won't be eligible for DNA anymore.
In that case you may want to rearrange the delivery for another day when you're actually home.

So we did our order : 20 items, 500€. The carrier gave the package to my friend who was standing in front of his door to avoid any call. He took the package without any signature which was supposed to be required. (We did DNA)
I had an online chat with a rep, he asked to ask the all country about our order and then asked us to paste a sentence (a sort of affidavit) in the chat. Then he gave us the choice between a replacement or a refund, we chose the refund.
