Lately Amazon is looking more carefully at Apple refunds. My friends and I had problems with them. At the end, had to sell the Apple products with losing some money.

That's correct, I've noticed that Apple products trigger an OTP-delivery. On the other hand, you can still order other less "hot" items of similar and even higher value without incurring in an OTP-delivery.
Just to give an update: I was going to use the "damaged shipment method" as previously discussed. Unexpectedly, when I opened the chat with CS the operator - a bot I believe - immediately told me that they verified the shipment as being damaged and that he had already issued to me a refund and that I would have received it within 48h.
All good I thought!
But then I got an email from CS where they say they want more information about the package, I told them that I don't have any info about the package as they stated it was damaged and being returned. Later, I got another email from CS. This time they ask me to file a PR for the incident.
Quote:"Based on our investigations, we have reason to believe that the package has been delivered to the correct address. We have considered the following information in our system, which shows that the item has been delivered:
- information collected at the point of delivery
- package weight and conditions reported at the time of delivery.
It may be advisable to contact the local law enforcement authorities to investigate the matter further.
If the issue is not resolved after contacting your local law enforcement authorities and the carrier, please contact us again during the office hours of the police department where you filed the report. You will need to provide us with the police report number, a link to access the police report or the police report itself in PDF/image file format. There are several ways to file a police report. Contact your local authorities to find out how to file a report."
This is complete non-sense, nevertheless, should I go ahead and file the PR?
This is on Amazon.de? You can try again chatting and escalating the case. But yeah, it could be that you would need to fill a police report, because yeah, Amazon wants police reports especially for higher price including Apple products. You could try doing return FTID and wait 30 days.

Yep, somewhere in Europe.
So, a couple of days ago I went to the police to file a report but they refused to file it. Basically, they told me it's not a crime and to try to contact again Amazon to solve the matter. I don't know what to do now, I was thinking of trying to escalate the case but what if they continue to ask for a PR? I don't want to get stuck in a loop.
Any advice guys?
You can't just fill it online? Like the police station should have online police report form.
