Got a argos account that has 1000s of genuine transactions on it.

Thinking of doing a eb on a apple watch, anyone got any experience with argos?

Argos has CCTV cameras In place but given you're purely EB'ing the watch case, It will render the footage Inconclusive.

There's no cause for concern.

You're purely EB'ing the watch case at a weight of 39 grams (round figures), which will not be detected at their weighing facilities.

I’d avoid Argos at all costs if it were me……have had trouble with them recently with an Iphone SE, their response is to instantly close your account ban you from stores and say they will only deal with your credit card company not yourself.

I also had a totally legit account with 100’s of orders over 6-7 Years

An account closure for a one-off claim? If their Intention Is to close every account, why does their claim's department exist? This Is targeted at Argos, and not yourself.

What was their reason to close the account?

They have provided me with no reason for it at all, I was sent a letter informing me of an investigation into my return and in the same letter I was told of the account closure and the removal of the invitation to shop with them, it also said that I was banned from stores and would be treated as a trespasser if I entered a store……all this before they had even completed an investigation, if I try to contact them by phone I am told they cannot discuss the matter and they hang up.

Argos will only provide details of the investigation to my credit card company not me……all I am told is that no refund will be provided.

It was genuinely a squeaky clean long standing account prior to this.

Pathetic to say the least.

You're well and truly entitled to an explanation for the account closure. Demand to speak with someone In senior management.

I'm thinking of SEing a controller on Argos, what do you recommend I do? I've had a 2 year account with 1 order. DNA I'm guessing.
Anything I say and do here is completely fictional.
