I'm about to build my first budget PC, so I got all these parts on my list:

Power supply: EVGA 450 BT
Motherboard: MSI A320M Pro-VHL AMD
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3
RAM: Ballistix Sport 16GB Dual Rank 2400 MT/s
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 2GB
HDD: Barracuda 2TB

This is my first attempt to build my own computer, please if there is any compatibility issues with any of these let me know.

For those who have experience and knowledge about building computers, let me know if you think I should swap any of the above with something better.

For information: I have a budget of 700$, and I do not really intend to play games (although I might when having free time) but more for running multiple applications and multiple VM's on 3 different screens.

VMs chew memory, particularly when running simultaneously. Along with multitasking, you may find you'll run low on physical available Ram. If the MOBO can accommodate It, I suggest opting for 32GB of Ram.

Good move. I took the 16GB (In your opening post) as total Ram.

The availability of slots Is one thing, accommodating the capacity Is another. Be sure It can handle 2x16GB and not 2x8GB.

I may be wrong, but you probably want a PSU with higher wattage. I'd double check what your power consumption will look like, unless you did already.

Im have a 970, an i5 6400 and 8 gb of ddr3 ram running on 350watt, He will be fine

Thank you for the feedback guys, the PSU has 450W which I think should be able to support all the listed hardware.
