Yesterday when I was at work, my wife messaged to say to look at the canners at the front door as the Royal Mail post man had been at the door but had no post or parcel. Strange I thought.

Then later on, the Evri driver was also very strange. Agsin, I watched the camera and wondered what he was doing. He always leaves the parcel on doorstep if there’s no one in. This delivery was supposed to be a signed for delivery but I understand Evri haven’t changed their signature policy since covid and only take pictures.
Anyway, yesterday he put the parcel on the doorstep but instead of taking a picture of it against the door, he stood right up against the door and took a pic. At the time of watching the camera, I wondered what he was doing but then received the Evri email saying it was delivered and the pictures makes it look like there are feet next to the parcel in the doorway like I have opened the door to receive the parcel. It’s absolutely perfect.

I plan on “bumping” in to the postman on Monday to see what he was all about.

That's your cue to not do anything stupid. If they weren't taking photos before, it's possible the carrier was reprimanded/questioned when items in the area went missing.
