Apple store question #1
Hi all,

I've been working amazon for a bit now, but I've just found an apple store receipt with an out of warranty iPod touch 6th gen. Is there any way to SE a refund out of this or is it a dead end? This is for Apple UK.

Cheers

I'm not sure, but I can say that you're definitely wasting your time to only get an iPod. It has a pretty outdated SoC too. Wouldn't even buy for $50.

Any chance of trying to get them to do a refund instead of a replacement?
I've got all the info that they'd usually require. IE: receipt, s/n, dox info

First and foremost, what's the age of the receipt?

I actually have a receipt (from Boost Mobile and less than a year old) and multiple shots of the phone from when I sold it on eBay. Anything I can do with this? It's just for an iPhone 6 so if I need to box or whatever it isn't really worth it to me.

Just over a year ago.

Apple have a one year limited warranty In the UK, so the receipt Itself, will not serve It's purpose for a refund/replacement.

The timing however, Is perfect. Given Christmas has recently passed, you can say that you've received It as a gift and the person must've purchased It quite a while back (hence out of warranty). Work on your refund thereafter.
