Just to make It clear, a one-time exception can be offered while the claim Is being assessed and an exclusion will apply. For Instance, If the product required a return but for one reason or another, you couldn't fulfil their request, they'll offer the one-time exception and not expect the return.
So it should be possible to buy an iphone, return it any reason and then FTID them?
The one-time exception should be requested when you're not able to meet their requirements, as with the example In my previous post - cannot return the Item.
So would it be possible to use it to avoid meeting the requirement of providing a police report to them if asked ?

I'm trying to place an order on apple but they seem to always cancel my order. Not too sure what to do to avoid this

I have this issue, I think it will likely be a problem with some form of discrepancy with your billing address and shipping address
I am but a simple gnome who likes free things, none of this is real. It is all simply fiction.

how did you get a hard copy of the police report. its what they have been hassling me about. ive said they dont do it so im waiting for their response.
Legitimately. I just contacted my local police dept. who had me fill out an online form through their website. The response from the police was, to put a long story short, "it's not our problem", but after filling out the form they sent me a copy of my responses. The apple rep I spoke to on the phone said it was just so they have "proof that the problem exists", in their own words.

So lets say I order an iPad and when received I say that it doesn't turn on. Can I ask for the one time exception to not send it back and have the refund anyway ? Maybe by making up an excuse saying that I'm leaving the country for an unknown amount of time and that I didn't take it with me as it was not working at all.
