The tracking number and all other details asked of you by the officer, has no relevance to filing the police report per se.

You've been told by Amazon that a PR Is needed and you've complied with their request, and have also fulfilled the requirements In full at the police station. That's It, job done - the PR Is complete, hence there's no further action on your part. The officer Is taking the PR beyond the scope of Its requirements. If she wants further Information, she can get It herself.

As long as an OTP Is not required, you're good to go with the DNA. Alternatively, the sealed box method can be used.
