Apple stated other police do it via email, and I pointed out that may well be the case, however my police do not. I stated it isn’t difficult to comprehend different jurisdictions, funnily enough have different police forces.
Amazon used to give me a hard time for this. Good luck
Well how did you solve this problem?
had them call the police station to confirm while I was on the line with them.

It's pretty obvious they're making this hard to stop SErs that won't go through with it, cause if you were a legit customer with a legit EB and at a 500-1000€ loss, you'd totally go harass the police to get a PR signed in whatever way you want

Ok but to go to a police station when I obviously don’t have an empty box isn’t something I would be comfortable with considering it still would be suspect to the police. I’ve heard from other users that it apparently costs over £100 pounds and they’ve been able to work around it so I’m not entirely sure.

It is a hassle, but it's meant to be since they're trying to stop scammers
Sure, you're also making it harder on legit customers, but I guess they had way too many losses lately and would rather have an angry customer than missing 10k€ every week

The issue is various Apple reps are stating different things.

My plan is to continue following the line that I have fulfilled my contractual obligations. As such, the issue is between Apple themselves and the courier. Therefore, if there’s a no refund, Apple are in breach of contract.

They’re really pissing me off.

Every advisor tells something different and the fail to comprehend the basics.

I’m expecting an email tomorrow, if it’s the same bullshit - I’ll phone. Otherwise, charge back with the bank whilst providing all evidence and documentation.
