It's possible although difficult, best thing to do is partial EB, although i did DNA. They left it at the door even though they shouldn;t have, and they said people were home and I told them that they were in an important meeting and couldnt leave it at the time of delivery, and when they went to the door nothing was there. I heard apple can and sometimes does brick the devices so I make sure to wrap it in foil and do NOT activate or touch until money is sent back. I haven't even opened it, im going to sell it and rebuy the same thing in store to make sure I get warranty since apple is extremely good with warranties and helping you out provided you have an extensive purchase history with them directly.
so you are knowingly selling a laptop to someone for thousands of dollars that could get bricked? that's disgusting.
selling it too a shop that buys shit is fair enough, but not some random person
Even if it gets bricked, they can unlock it since they did nothing wrong, it was the original purchaser. It most likely wont lock if I never turn it on at the place of delivery.

I've done many many devices from them so I just do it as a precautionary measure since I'm not just a 'one-off' SE'er.
