So I placed an order for the Apple Watch ultra on pre-order day. I received the watch this morning and told Apple that the box was empty without the Apple Watch and strap. I use a long time account, which had one previous SE 5 years ago.

I called customer care and they said they had to investigate so give them 24-28 hours. I kept telling them I was sad and upset this happened. They asked if I wanted a replacement, I told them I rather get a refund since the Watch is back ordered. They said okay but I’ll have to wait for the investigation. Later on in the day I got an email saying my refund is being processed.

I would like to try Apple store aswell. They really this relaxed with refunds?

I believe it has to do with it being launch month so theirs so many orders being made they won’t have all this time to investigate plus my account tenure maybe helped? Deff very smooth. I would try this now since it’s still launch month with the phone watches and AirPods
