Apple Watch Serial Number #1
Hello guys.
I’m trying to SE apple for an Apple Watch using the serial number method.
So far I’ve contacted them by chat stating that my new Watch is not working whatsoever.
The problem is, apparently they don’t accept mail-ins in my locality, they recommended me to visit a repair center.
I’ve told them I have mobility issues and they found out there’s a repair center that accepts mail-ins.
The plan was to box them but I’m not sure if they’ll be liable for loss, as Apple is.
What do you think the best course of action is?

Thanks for your help.

Research their terms.

Their terms are pretty sparse and don’t mention anything regarding loss of goods but I’m quite sure they’ll just try to shake it off.
Should I try to push apple to find a different solution? They were very apologetic but not very helpful.

If you can establish that they're liable for loss of goods, your SE can move forward with boxing them.

Prior to preparing the return, you can say that you were wearing the watch to try and get It working, but the battery acid leaked and you threw It out for safety concerns.

In other words, you'd use the disposed of the faulty Item method.
