In the past, you were able to SE an Apple Watch by claiming MEB and get your money back with no issues besides the occasional apple declining a refund for no reason. Now, apple wants you to ship back whatever you are claiming was sent to you, the box/manual/charger/band.

I ordered 1 Apple Watch Ultra 2, claimed MEB for the watch and the band. I took out the charger as well without telling them it was missing just to see if they’ll catch it. Apple Watch box has been shipped back, should be receiving a reply within the next few days. Will update if its a success or not and if the charger has anything to do with it.

MEB failed. Could be a “random” fail that Apple is known for or MEB could be patched for Apple Watches now. I did return the box though so I provided my bank with the tracking number and disputed the charge. I received a refund from my bank.

hmm interesting, wonder if providing the tracking for the return is something for easy charge backs. Did you say anything else of the bank? was it instant. my bank gives a credit then kinda investigates or whatever

For most chargebacks, the bank will provide credit first and then do their investigation. At the end of their investigation they decide if you keep the credits or they take it back. So these are conditional and not settled for sure.
