Apple Products, FTID, SE, or DNA?

Hi guys! Brand new to this so sorry for my lack of knowledge on these topics. I really want to get AirPods Max. I have done DNA and FTID on clothing but never electronics. What would be the best and easiest website to do it on and with which method? For example, should I do it directly from Apple or is that too risky?
