So with the iPad Pro 12.9 when it arrived I opened the packing box saw the Ipad and then went to Apple Chat Support and acted like a Karen who smoked too much meth. Guy was laid back and in a few days they shipped another one.
Method was empty box not empty Ipad box.
Second this was a year ago.
Refunding from 2020-early 2022 was like the wild west. Only thing that would slow you down is exshaustion and if your got low on cash.

Refunding is good still but its not as laid back and fun. I get good results but i have to be a psychotic asshole more to get anywhere.

Yeah I would never try EB again. Apple has been getting hit hard and won't fall for that again. Maybe buy it somewhere else with EB or another method.

Buy it at Costco write down serial number. Tell Apple support its acting up. Google a pic of a damaged ipad pro.
Return and buy a new one every 90 days at Costco
Or buy it and do a chargeback quickly. That way if the chargeback takes 2 months and you lose you can still go to Costco and return it,
Some of these ideas might sound absurb but you need to try different shit than the 99% of the god only knows how many refunders there are now.
Good Luck you can always try multiple return methods at the same time on stuff. I do all the time and it confuses the hell out of them,

I got Sunglases Hut to send me another $400 Prada sunglasses and I kept openijng tickets for the 1st and 2nd pair I got giving different anwsers as to whats wrong.
A few weeks later I se a $392 credit frojm Sunglasses Hut. Now I can sell a pair and the stores pays me for wearing their shit.
