You mentioned in another post somewhere that companies can claim a certain dollar amount loss as a tax write off, right? Do you happen to know the the approximate limit for that or what a safe range would be?

I don't remember the post, but when the cost of freight when returning an Item (as well as the manpower spent on an Investigation) outweighs the cost of the Item, many companies would rather mark It as a write-off.

It mainly relates to low value Items, and not laptops to the likes of yours.
