Anime Phases #1
Any casual anime watchers have huge phases where, for like 2 weeks you will binge a show and then somehow stop being interested for a month and repeat? I never can actually finish a full show.

Anyone got anime recommendations that made them have no life and hardcore binge?

When I do watch, I tend to finish shows in 2-3 sittings. I'd recommend Fate/stay night (UBW) or Fate/Zero, as those were the last 2 I watched.

I guess the last anime which I wasn't able to complete within 2-3 settings will be Fairy tail series.
I am a hardcore binger and the newer animes with 12-13 episodes are for binging within a day or two only.
The longer you delay the show, the more boring it gets.

When I was younger my anime phases we're always during summer. I'd get allergies when going out so I preferred to stay indoors and play games during the day and watch anime in the evenings. Nowadays anime just comes and goes whenever I feel like it. The most memorable binge watch anime for me were Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Steins Gate and Ghost in the Shell.

All of my favorite shows, I've binged in either 1-2 sessions.
Those typically have just the 24 - 26 episodes, then they're finished.

There are others I really love (Ghost in the Shell) that I've binged and have still never seen every episode of.

It takes a lot for an Anime to grab my attention nowadays, though.
There are at least 20 I've tried starting in the last 5 years and have just completely lost interest in. SAO and Attack on Titan, I shut off after the first 5 episodes because after giving them an honest try, I absolutely couldn't stand them.

I just adore it and I watch anime online all the time. Why? Animes taught me the way of living my life. The lessons about life are the greatest part of it. It helps to learn about love, family, emotions, friendship, culture. I grew up in a very protective family and never knew how to behave with friends, how to show my feelings when I was with them, etc. All of these kinds of problems were solved when I indulged myself in the anime world and I am so thankful to life that it gave me such a great gift.

I definitely go through big phases where all I'll watch for months on end is anime. I tend to go through phases with a lot of stuff in my life or at least I did in the past. I've done the same with playing guitar the past 15 years, although that's been a bit more consistent then my anime trends.

Right now I'm in a total anime phase, I am almost finished watching Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and I've loved every single episode so far, to the point that I think it's going into my top 5 anime's of all time. I have a whole list of anime I plan on watching afterwards, I just can't decide on what! It might be My Hero Academia though, a friend of mine keeps telling me I got to watch it.
