I'm assuming you mean emui 9.1? Since there is no Android 9.1. To my knowledge, there are no RAT built for 9.0 or above yet. The latest android version to have a successful RAT is 7.1 if I remember correctly.
If you have rooted the p20 pro you can install application that will record the mic actively in the background, then once it finishes, use an xposed module to quietly auto send the file to a specific email address.
It's been a lot harder to do this ever since 6.0 due to Google's changes with audio recording. It's actually easier to do this on an ios device than a new Android now.
